So, I was sorting through some old strings of Christmas lights. Many of the bulbs were broken and shards of glass spilled out in to a pile on my living room carpet.
"Oh geez. Now I have to clean this up!" I dreaded the thought of having to lug out my canister vacuum, installing its attachments, unwinding/winding the cord. I thought ... "I'll just get some masking tape and pull up the shards that way!!"
The ridiculous part? I spent the next 20 minutes trying to find a roll of masking tape. It would have only taken me 10 minutes to use the vacuum!
